Lest anyone be confused about the relatively dark connotation to my title, I’ll just plainly explain the meaning behind it. Most people who know me are aware that I am indeed a poet. This title is named after a Celtic legend by the same name, which is about the power and fear the nation of Ireland had for the poets. Of course, in the end, the main poet in the story curses an undeniably dishonorable individual. Well, here I’m not referring to any ability of cursing I might have, but the inevitable “curse” that so many men and women of the poetical nature seem to bear. Of course, everyone has their fair share of obstacles to face in life, but there is definitely a sort of dark, intellectual/emotional difficulty that I have seen run through the blood of so many of my friends and family that share a deep nature similar to my own. So, I’m sure in the future there will be some elaborations on this topic, but for now, just to give you an idea of where the tone of my writing style originates from.
